
Any users out there that have Nokia Image Exchange for the S60 will know all to well that there were a few bugs lurking around in the application. However, the good people at Nokia have announced today that a new version of the Nokia Image Exchange for the S60, which adds an accelerometer, fixes some known bugs, and adds an all new Activity Notifications feature, has been released. According to the official Nokia blog, the new version of Nokia Image Exchange has received quite an overhaul. However, the biggest addition is the Activity Notifications feature, which informs you about activities relating to your images and contacts. For example, mentioned activities includes showing new images and comments on images.
In addition, the new release changes the way connections are made. For instance, new load balancing architecture has been introduced that will provide improved responsiveness for more users.
Unfortunately, the update is not yet available for touchscreen devices – although, Nokia has confirmed that they are currently working on this.
