XpressBeer--Application Review

Beer.. Hmmm!!!

Wanna have some beer without the intoxication? Drink beer on your Nokia 5800? Nah, I am not talking about any substitute for beer but a cool application, named XpressBeer the likes of which are pretty common on the iPhone platform, but in this case, XpressBeer works very well on the Symbian Platform with accelerometer just like the Nokia 5800.

XpressBeer is an accelerometer based application, which lets 5800 users have a mug of beer, anytime, anywhere just with a few clicks on their 5800s. Its an application based on  Python platform and as such Python is a pre-requisite to use this application.

Installation:

Unless you already have Python installed on your 5800, its a two step installation process. Let me cover the complete two step process for the benefit of everyone. First, you will need to install Python v1.9.5 which can be downloaded from here. Restart your phone and now download and install XpressBeer from this link.

Features

Xpress Beer is a very simple application, just open the application and it will fill your virtual mug with beer.  Tilt it to drink it, that simple! Take a look at this video below, if you need any more convincing!

Verdict

While this is no fancy application, bringing some great functions to our 5800, its an all out fun application. If the Apple App store can have like a million applications of this genre, 5800 can have a few of its own too. 5800 is inching closer to that iPhone killer tag and its moving in great leaps and bounds. So go ahead and download XpressBear on your 5800 and get drunk sans the intoxication!
